Patrick J. Madden, Esquire, is a Senior Associate with the
firm. Mr. Madden is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Preparatory
School (1986), the University of Delaware (B.A. 1990) and
the Rutgers School of Law at Camden (J. D. with Honors,
1996). He has been admitted to the Bars of the State of
New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United
States District Court for the District of New Jersey since
1996, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit
since 1997 and the United States Supreme Court since 2001.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Madden served in the
United States Marine Corps, deploying twice with the 26th
Marine Expeditionary Unit.
Mr. Madden has concentrated his practice in civil litigation
involving commercial, construction, civil rights and employment
claims. Mr. Madden has extensive litigation experience and
has tried numerous cases to verdict in both the United States
District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Superior
Court of New Jersey, as well as successfully litigating
construction arbitration cases to conclusion before both
private and American Arbitration Association panels. Mr.
Madden has also argued before the United States Court of
Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Appellate Division
of the Superior Court of New Jersey on numerous occasions.
Mr. Madden resides in Haddon Township, New Jersey with his wife Bridget and their children, Kellyn and Conor. His interests include reading, skiing and running. He completed the Philadelphia Marathon in 2005 and 2008, and the Marine Corps Marathon in 2007.
